Pie Contest

• Bring your pie, label your pie plate and fill out a display tag by 1pm. Winning pies anounced at 1:30. Then let the pie sale begin!
• Beautiful handmade prize ribbons for contest winners.
• Pies will be for sale after the contest at 1:45- mmmmmmm.....
• Proceeds from the Pie Sale will help the Strathcona Community Centre Food Security Programs that feed hundreds of people from Strathcona every day. Food Programs at the Strathcona Community Centre.

Raffle

• Fundraiser for the Strathcona Community Centre Food Security Programs.
• Donors include: 4Cats Art Studio Commercial Drive, The Gathering Place, Left Coast Naturals, The Vancouver Dispensary Society, Spartacus Books, Mette, Jill Pilon, Ming Wo, Benny Foods, Onyx Containers, Dilly Dally Kids, Hip Baby, Three Bags Full, Harbour Publishing, Monkey 100, Jonathan Cruz, The Wilder Snail, Blue Lantern Studio, Roberta Robertson and more to come...
• Seeking volunteers to sell raffle tickets during the event from 12-2 or 2-4. If you can help, contact Francesca. Get Involved!

Community Kitchen

• Saturday, September 17 from 1pm - 4pm at the Strathcona Community Centre.
• Food will be made to share with our community at the community potluck! We sure could use some helping hands, of any age or skill. Participants will get to take home portions of each food made. Yum. For more info contact Alexis.

Community Potluck

• Please bring your own plates, cups and cutlery to enjoy this delicious homemade food. There will also be coffee, juice, water and fresh fruit and local vegetables available for everyone.

  Potato Sack Race

• Once again run by Boyd. Watch for him to announce the starting times. There are prizes, so practice your hopping and enjoy.

Face painting

• Face painting is free!

Seasonal Crafts & Special Guest Artists

• Pumpkin and Bat Hats, decorate with veggie stamps.
• Wreath Making, all materials provided.
• Special guest artists: 4Cats Art Studio Commercial Drive, will be offering interactive art demos for all ages. Modelling clay and water colour projects will be available to try and take home.
